Hints For Students

• Allow enough time to use AskColorado. Finding good information may take a few minutes but may save you time later.
• Tell the librarian where you have already searched. This helps to find new information rather than sending information you already have.
• Ask the librarian for search techniques. They can help you become a better researcher.
• Let the librarian know what the specific homework assignment is. For example, do you need books, magazines articles, or web sites?
• You are getting help from a real person, not a search engine. Please be polite. (See our Mutual Respect and Acceptable Behavior Policy)
• Try your own librarian. She/he can help you too!
